How a job runs
Four steps.
No surprises on the day.
Most tree jobs go wrong before they start: an unclear quote, a permit nobody checked, a stump left behind. We plan every job end to end before booking it in.

Send photos
Snap the tree, the trunk and the access from the street. Two minutes, no site visit needed to start.
- 02
Permit check
We look up your address against the Peninsula’s planning controls and tell you plainly if a permit is likely.
- 03
Clear quote
One price covering removal, stump and green waste, with anything that could change it spelled out up front.
- 04
Clean finish
Booked in, cut down safely, ground out, raked and cleared. You get your yard back the same day.

Every kind of tree job, one crew to call.

Pricing · What moves the number
What a tree job really costs depends on five things.
No two trees are priced the same. These are the factors that shape your quote, so you know what you’re paying for before you say yes.
Size of the tree
Taller trees are taken down in sections, which takes more time and gear.
Getting to it
Backyards, slopes and narrow side paths mean more carrying and smaller machines.
What’s underneath
Roofs, fences, power lines and pools call for rigging and lowering, not felling.
Stump & roots
Grinding below ground level so you can replant, pave or turf over it.
Permits & reports
If the Shire needs a permit or arborist report, we say so up front.
Service area
Frankston to Portsea, and everywhere between.
We cover the whole Peninsula and the Frankston fringe. Coastal moonahs, hillside gums in Red Hill, big old cypress windbreaks in Somerville — we know the trees, the soils and the Shire.
Questions
Straight answers.
Can’t see yours? Ask it in the quote form and we’ll answer with your price.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree on the Mornington Peninsula?
Often, but not always. Many parts of the Peninsula are covered by planning controls that can require a permit before vegetation is removed, lopped or destroyed. It depends on your address, the overlays on it and the tree itself. We check this before quoting, and you can also call the Shire’s planning team on 5950 1010 or use the Shire’s online guidance.
What about bushfire clearing near my house?
If your property is in a designated Bushfire Prone Area, the bushfire protection exemptions in Clause 52.12 of the planning scheme may let you remove some vegetation near your home without a permit. Since August 2020 these exemptions only apply inside Bushfire Prone Areas. We’ll help you check whether your property qualifies.
How fast can you quote?
Send photos through the form and we aim to come back the same business day with next steps — either a price or a quick site visit if the job needs one.
Do you remove the stump and clean up?
Yes. Stump grinding and green waste removal can be included in the same quote, so you’re not left with a stump, a mulch pile or a second tradie to chase.
A tree came down in a storm. Can you help now?
Use the quote form and tick “Storm or emergency”. Urgent jobs are triaged first. If a tree is on a power line or a building is unsafe, call 000 and stay well clear.
